Mimi Mesfin was born on June 29, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, USA, to her father Mesfin Alemayahu and her mother Yesharge Mengesha.

From early childhood, Mimi grew up with a life rooted in faith. She was baptized at St. Mary Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Los Angeles. The church became an important part of her life—providing her with a spiritual foundation, moral guidance, and strong community values.

Mimi began her primary education at **El Rincon Elementary School**. She was a hardworking student, kind to her classmates, and well loved in her community.

She continued her education at **Culver City Middle School**, where she became known for her respectful, friendly nature and her warm sense of humor, which brought joy to many around her.

Mimi completed high school at **Culver City High School**. In February 2021, with a strong and determined spirit, she moved to Portland to begin a new chapter in life and to continue her education.
